Bagged teas offer a convenient way to take tea.
The tea bag was invented purely by accident by American tea importer Thomas Sullivan in 1908.
He used silk bags to send samples of his tea out to customers.
His customers put the bags into the pot and brewed tea, thinking that was their intended use.
